Hello all
I've been a member on the old host here for a couple of weeks now & so I guess its best I get around to (re)introducing myself ( sorta ) anyway on this new
host.
I'm here mainly to share and write from Zürich, Switzerland.
Some might ask what I'm doing on here when the board is largely Aussie-centric. Well I have a few ties to Straya apart from family ( I provide remote support to my aged folks for all their tech needs / wants from afar ).
I'm also providing continuing assistance some mates, rellies & have a few Swiss based and Aussie based non-profit clients, and to a far lesser extent paying clients, mainly for ad-hoc work relating to networking, NBN, servers as well as infrastructure.
Topics closer to my heart are centered on NBN especially on the FttN variant, network, servers, VOIP just to name a few. Happy to try to assist when required ( just send me a message & we can take it from there ).
I'm of Sth East Asian heritage, love travel & am a voluntary tourist guide for my city - our group is called Zürich Greeters.
Ok, I guess thats it for now.. anything I missed?... just ask.
My folks in Morayfield ( 4CAB POI FttN Superlop ) look after her on behalf of the owner, away for several months now and are very attached to this long term guest.
Some tips for Strayans to CH ( Switzerland )
