Windows backup.

I would like to give a shout out to windows backup in Windows 10, latest build... there is still a windows 7 backup and restore program in the Control Panel. It allows you to create a "system image" and restore that image should things go awry with the system. I had not used it before until this year and found it remarkably quick. I was expecting it to take hours but not so. I have no idea how it manages it but it does work. At the moment at the start of each month I do an image and keep on older one. I have not had to use it very much but on one occasion I had an error where the system kept rebooting itself. I think there as some glitch around the video card or something. Sometimes it would even do it before I put in my pin to log in.

Anyway I had a thumb drive to boot off and restored from an image and again, not very long at all.. and to my surprise all my programs and content appeared to be intact and the reboot problem was solved. Highly recommend people get into the routine if they, like me break windows from time to time.
