The top-three internet issues this year were about service and equipment fees, "no or delayed action by a service provider" and "delay establishing a service".

Among the top-10 telco providers for the number of complaints, the large players naturally had the most. However, providers on the list that had more complaints than last year included Exetel, TPG (up 20.3 per cent), Telstra, iiNet and M2 Commander.

Those in the top 10 who had fewer complaints included MyRepublic (down 40.2 per cent), Optus (down 17.1 per cent), Vodafone, Dodo and Southern Phone Co.
