What modems/routers do you have for NBN backup?

I'm a firm believer in having backup specially when it comes to NBN like back on Adsl2

My Main Router: Asus 68U Router (was now dead)
Backup 1: NetGear XR500 (IPV6 issues and i never liked the DumaOS interface (not suitable for backup)
Backup 2: Telstra gateway 1 (TG799vac) - 11 years old and still works fantastic (only 1 now using currently)

More so with covid spreading around you can't just go to the store and buy 1 asap,

Shopping online is way safer just make sure you disinfect the package when you get it :thumbup

So what are your backup modem/routers for NBN tech ?

edit: added changes due to modem dying and other being crap

For Morayfield 4506 POI 4CAB on FttN 100/40Mbps:

All 4 pcs are ex-Telstra ARMv7 Technicolor DJA0230 Gen 1 SMG1, better described here:

It has the same ARMv7 CPU as the Asus RT-AC68U.

We now do an average of 9TB a month, but largely upload traffic from Caboolture to Zürich for reliable live 24x7 25fps IPCamera frames.

Each are backed up with a complimentary 4G backup / failover running typically at 22/2Mbps, reliably. All 4 are rooted and worked perfectly and Broadcom based just like NBN's DSLAM chipset - Broadcom ;)

For ZRH on HFC 1000/100Mbps, multiple devices, mainly dual or more WAN, business grade and x64 PC based devices on Open Source Linux / FreeBSD OS.

Some are here:
