On ebay i bought myself a Digital Thermometer Infrared Handheld Temperature Gun Un-Contact IR Laser Point cheap for $19 + free postage
Just got it today so figured hey why not zap a few things to get some readings
Checked temp on my HFC Arris Box:

And i was curious how hot my Telstra 799vac got while on and idle so i set it up in my room no lan cables attached to it just idle for about 2 hours
