Telstra TG799vac back to life!

#567

Post by Rain »

Today My Main Router Asus 68U Router died outta no where :( i know i didn't have it for long and it's strange i cant seem to find it via history on ebay from 2020/2019 so perhaps it was a little earlier than that

Non the less i'm using my Backup option 2: Telstra gateway 1 (TG799vac) - 11/12 years old, still working great as i can see

I downgraded my plan from 400/50 to 250/25 over the next 4 months to save some money, then i'll go back to 400/50 :beer :thumbup :pray

Still can test my netgear XR500 tomorrow and switch to 1Gbps/50 and test the speeds with both modems and report back

Because my Asus 68u could only max 700Mbps

Ain't true ! But good that it has given up the ghost, for something better, faster & far more reliable & good bang for the buck

The NBN, like Paul Fletcher's diet, needs more fibre - Applied liberally
